Cookies are short text files that a website stores in your browser. SovereignEdge uses three categories of cookie: strictly necessary, analytics, and marketing. This page lists every cookie we place, its purpose, and its lifespan.
Strictly necessary (always set, no consent required)
These cookies are required for the site to function. They cannot be switched off via the consent panel.
- sovereignedge_s5x_age (sessionStorage) — Records that you have confirmed you are 18 or over in the current browser session. Expires when you close the tab. No personal data is transmitted to the server.
- sovereignedge_s5x_consent (localStorage) — Stores your cookie consent choices so the consent bar does not reappear on every page load. Persists until you clear browser storage or explicitly withdraw consent. No personal data is transmitted to the server.
Analytics (set only with your consent)
If you grant consent via the cookie panel, Google Analytics places cookies that measure traffic patterns in aggregate. No name, email address, or other personally identifiable information is collected by these cookies.
- _ga — Distinguishes unique visitors. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_* — Persists session state for GA4. Expires after 2 years.
- _gid — Stores page-view session information. Expires after 24 hours.

Marketing (set only with your consent)
If you grant marketing consent, cookies associated with affiliate tracking may be placed by the bookmaker’s site when you click a ‘Visit’ link from SovereignEdge. These cookies are set by the operator, not by SovereignEdge. They allow the operator to credit SovereignEdge with any qualifying referral commission. You can view each operator’s cookie and privacy policy on their own website.
How to manage cookies
You can adjust your consent choices at any time via the accessible from the footer of every page.
You can also clear all cookies from your browser. The method varies by browser; for Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear browsing data. For Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data. For Safari: Safari → Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
Clearing cookies will remove your consent record, so the cookie consent bar will reappear on your next visit.
Do Not Track
Some browsers allow you to send a “Do Not Track” signal to websites. SovereignEdge treats a Do Not Track signal as equivalent to declining optional cookies; analytics and marketing cookies will not be set if this signal is detected.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove cookies, or change the purpose of an existing cookie, we will update this page and, where required by law, request fresh consent. The version of this document currently in effect is always at this URL.
